Abstract: An extensive survey was conducted in Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh to document the floristic diversity of herbs and their ethnobotanical importance. The present study reports 82 herbaceous medicinal plant species belonging to 63 genera and 32 families of angiosperms used by the locals. The ethnobotanical information was obtained by conducting open interviews and group discussions with the local people.
