Abstract

During our field survey to Goa from 2018-2020, collected and studied 71 species of Pteridophytes from Goa of which three species viz., Thelypteris arbuscula (Willd.) K. Iwats., Thelypteris tenera (Roxb.) C.V. Morton ex Fraser-Jenk. and Thelypteris tylodes (Kunze) Ching belongs to the family Thelypteridaceae reported as new records for the state of Goa. Morphological descriptions, spore morphology under Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), ecology, distributions, photographs and distributional maps are provided to facilitate their easy identification.
