The present enumerate the taxa of genus Athyrium Roth in Central India. In the study area, the genus is represented by five species. A brief taxonomic description of each species have been provided including two endemic species i.e. Athyrium parasnathense (C.B.Clarke) Ching ex Bir and A. hohenackerianum (Kunze) T. Moore to facilitate their future identification.
Keywords: Athyrium, Central India, Pteridophytes, Endemic.
