Abstract: The name in Rubiaceae family, Acrantheratomentosa R.Br. ex Hook.f. is lectotypified herein after scrutinizing the original materials of F. de Silva composed of multiple herbarium sheets collected from Mountae Sillet, Khaseah range (Mountains near Sylhet, Khasi Hills of the present-day Meghalaya, India) housed in different Herbaria (CAL, K and P).Moreover, detailed morphological description and photographic illustration of the species based on living plant materials has alsobeen provided to facilitate its identification.
